THE BEST PICK UP 2011 – Double cabin vehicle Volkswagen (VW) AMAROK won successfully in International Pick-up Award 2011 by the British Daily automotive, MotorTransport, Tuesday (12/10).
The assessment was conducted by a number of awards jury representing 23 countries.
During the judging process, Amarok was praised for his performance in off-road capable. In addition, the jury was also impressed with the interior design Amarok and tailgate capacity large enough.
“VW Amarok is different from driving a car similar to a very good sensation, good driving on the highway or off road. Amarok have better standards for pickup category, both in terms of capacity, interior design, comfort, and fuel consumption,” MotorTransport wrote.
Amarok carrying the 2.0L TDI engine with variable-geometry turbocharger. This machine is claimed to be fuel efficient with fuel consumption of 7.6 liters per 100 km.
Amarok name means wolf, drawn from the Inuit language, namely the indigenous Eskimo people who live in northern Canada and Greenland.
